Introducing Rebulk

Reimagining bulk inventory visibility

March 20266 min read

Bulk inventory has been measured the same way for decades. Manual checks, visual estimates, and periodic surveys leave operators guessing between measurements. For an industry that moves trillions of dollars in physical materials every year, that uncertainty is expensive.

Rebulk is changing that. We're building a platform that gives teams continuous, accurate inventory visibility across yards, sheds, and storage sites using cameras, LiDAR, and AI.

The problem we're solving

Bulk materials are everywhere. Grain in silos, biomass in yards, aggregates in quarries, feed in sheds. These materials underpin global supply chains, but the way they're measured hasn't kept pace with how they're managed.

Most operators still rely on tape measures, visual estimates, or infrequent third-party surveys to understand how much inventory they have. These methods are slow, inconsistent, and create blind spots between measurements. When inventory data is unreliable, it affects purchasing decisions, logistics planning, reconciliation, and operational confidence across the business.

The gap isn't a lack of technology. Cameras and sensors are more capable and affordable than ever. The gap is that no one has built a system designed specifically for the realities of bulk material environments — the dust, the weather, the irregular pile shapes, the remote sites, and the operational constraints that make measurement hard.

What Rebulk does

Rebulk is an inventory visibility platform for bulk materials. We combine hardware, computer vision, and software to help teams measure and monitor what they have — continuously, accurately, and without manual effort.

The platform works in three layers:

  • Data capture — cameras, LiDAR, and depth sensors installed in the field capture continuous imagery and point cloud data across storage environments.
  • AI processing — our computer vision models process raw sensor data into precise 3D volumetric measurements, automatically identifying pile boundaries, classifying materials, and calculating volumes.
  • Operational visibility — inventory levels, material movement, trends, and alerts are delivered through a dashboard your team can use every day.

For sites that don't need permanent hardware, we also offer drone capture services and can integrate with existing cameras and sensors that are already in place.

Built for the real world

Industrial environments are hard on technology. Dust, rain, extreme temperatures, limited connectivity, and 24/7 operational schedules all create constraints that consumer-grade solutions can't handle.

Rebulk is designed for these conditions from the ground up. Our hardware is IP67-rated and self-contained. Our AI models are trained on real industrial environments, not lab settings. And our deployment process is designed to get sites live in days, not months.

We've validated our approach in live deployments at companies like Charm Industrial and in active pilots with major commodity operators. The system works in the field, and it delivers trusted measurements that teams can use for day-to-day operations.

Why now

Three things have converged to make this the right time:

  • Sensor costs have dropped dramatically — industrial-grade cameras and LiDAR are more accessible than ever.
  • AI capabilities have matured — computer vision and 3D reconstruction are now reliable enough for production-grade industrial measurement.
  • Operational pressure is increasing — supply chain disruptions, margin compression, and sustainability requirements are pushing operators to demand better visibility into their physical inventory.

The operators we work with aren't looking for incremental improvements. They want a fundamentally better way to understand their inventory. That's what we're building.

What's next

We're expanding deployments across agriculture, biomass, aggregates, energy, and other bulk material industries. If your team manages physical inventory and wants better visibility, we'd love to talk.
